When do practices begin? Practices for all teams begin the week of August 23, 2004. You will be contacted by your assigned coach regarding specific practice times and the team you will play on.  Both the August 2004 newsletter and website have detailed information also.

When do specific teams practice? Intramural Girls U-8 and older teams practice on Mondays or Wednesdays. Lanco Girl teams practice both nights. Coaches will contact you on the date and time.

Intramural Boys U-8 and older teams practice on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Lanco Boy teams practice both nights. Coaches will contact you on the date and time. The day of the week is determined by field assignment and availability.

When are the first games scheduled for Intramural U-8 and older teams? The first intramural games begin the weekend of September 11 & 12 . Boys play their games on Saturdays. Girls play their games on Sunday afternoons. Specific times will be announced.

When are the first games scheduled for U-6 players and when do they practice?
Thursday, September 9 will be the first game for U-6 teams. U-6 teams practice on both Tuesday and Thursday nights until the week of September 6 when games begin on the Thursday (September 9) with practices remaining on each Tuesday. Your coach will specify exact times. At mid-season, U-6 games will be on both Tuesday and Thursday nights.

When does the fall soccer season end? The last U-8 and above games will be held on the weekend of October 30 & 31. The last U-6 game will be played on October 21, 2004.

Are there games scheduled on Labor Day Weekend? There are no games or practices scheduled for Labor Day Weekend (September 4, 5, 6). Practices resume on Tuesday, September 7, 2004.

Where are practices held? Construction is now occurring at CV High School where most of our practices and games have occurred in the past.  This means that many team practices and games for our Fall Season have been moved to alternate locations.  Please see the August newsletter, the website, and information from your coach for up-to-date locations.  All coaches have been given practice field and game assignments.

What if I have not been contacted by a coach and don't know which team my child is playing on? Please contact the appropriate age coordinator below or certainly any Board Member. We would be glad to help you with any questions during the season.

Is there a Spring fundraiser that I must participate in? There is no fundraiser for Spring. There will be a required fundraiser (with an opt-out fee option) at the Fall registration signups.  

When are Lanco tryouts scheduled? LANCO Tryouts are scheduled for the first week of May 2005.  Please see upcoming newsletters and the website for exact dates and times. 

When is the 3v3 Tournament sponsored by CVYSC and how do I register?

All intramural players are invited to register as there are both competitive and non-competitive divisions. Teams consist of 5 players.

How do I stay informed during the season? Each team will be assigned a team parent.   All team parents are coordinated by the Parent Volunteer Coordinator. CVYSC also publishes a club newsletter during each season and our website at www.cvysc.org is maintained with current and breaking news. Also, Age Level Coordinators direct the activities of that age group during the season. Any Board Member can answer or direct you to the information you need.
